As the Plant Manager of the Kenansville Plant, you will be responsible for all plant operations, including Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Quality, Materials, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering for the Kenansville plant which operates inside Lear's Surface Materials business unit. The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Establishing and leading cultural change in a participative work environment. Establish the vision and goals for the plant that are aligned to the overall business vision. Communicate and realize the vison in terms that the team can understand and know how they each contribute, and what is required to achieve said vision. Ensure financial success of the plant by controlling the various controllable P&L related metrics and adjust to reflect economic factors that are out of our direct control. Develop a collaborative and engaged workforce through the adoption of consistent and fair policies, effective communication regimes and an environment of openness and two-way communication. Evaluate the leadership within the plant, coach and mentor to develop the team into a cohesive team with development and succession plans for high potentials, enable a culture of succession planning and career development. Be open to constructive criticism and use the opportunities to continue to grow and develop. Prepare and update corporate reports as required. Ensures compliance with the following legislation:
OHSA, WSIB, Human Rights, Employment Standards, and Labor Relations. Uses and or wears personal protective equipment that the company requires to be used or worn. Performs any other duties as required in pursuance to the function of this position or as directed. Drive a zero tolerance H&S culture in line with company directives Recognizing and understanding the requirements of our internal and external customers and is dedicated to establishing the highest industry standards for quality, value, service & technology. Ensures and understands compliance with harassment within the workplace towards others in the organization. Qualifications:
Experience in complex supply chains and high complexity manufacturing environments Experience in high volume manufacturing processes Experience with High Performance Work Teams Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Planning and Organization skills. Time Management and Prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work in a team environment. High attention to detail. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Bonus If You Have:
5-10 years experience in a management function within the automotive or comparable manufacturing industry. Arbinger Outward Mindset Lean Manufacturing and or 6 Sigma certification Knowledge of textile manufacture Understanding of manufacturing assembly, sequencing and equipment principles.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
